Fall 2019 - Greens

Organically grown greens that are great in salads as well as sauteed. Limited amounts available through our webpage, however, please be sure to visit us early on market days for the varieties below.

  • Arugula - our farmers market favorite. Great spice.
  • Lettuce - Romain and Mignonette Bronze are tender and selected young.
  • Kale - Red Russian and Blue Vetch varieties picked young for tenderness.
  • Swiss Chard - Bright red veins that are great lightly sauteed with light seasoning, garlic and olive oil.
  • Sorrell - Sour and broad leave have a unique flavor and make great garnish and creams.
